A Letter From Our Pastor
I have to admit, I’m really excited about our HEART FOR THE HOUSE offering this Sunday!
I’ve never participated in something like this & its been a fun first year at ZOE church. To be honest, Julia and I never saw it coming. What I mean by that is… we didn’t anticipate meeting such amazing people, seeing so many peoples’ lives changed, and watching so many leaders step into their “God given potential” so quickly.
We have believed from the beginning: “ZOE is special” and we have been convinced of that because of the people in our church!
We genuinely live by the truth that “people make a place,” because of the people at ZOE, we’ve seen 1100 people say yes to Jesus...
191 people graduate from Growth Track &
147 people served on the DREAM TEAM last weekend.
Needless to say, there are a lot of people that have a HEART FOR THIS HOUSE.
I’ve always heard of other churches doing a HEART FOR THE HOUSE offering but never fully understood what it was… In fact, it wasn’t until we did a lot of research and asked a lot of questions that we came to the conclusion of wanting to do one at ZOE.
HEART FOR THE HOUSE, is a once a year “over and above” sacrificial offering that goes towards the vision of what we want to accomplish as a church. This once a year offering has absolutely solidified for me how much our destinies our tied together!
As we give this Sunday and sow into the mission of our church, we are making a statement that the message of JESUS is our highest priority.
I want to encourage you to take a moment to ask God what He would have you give?
I’ve already heard a few stories from people in our church that have told me, “God gave me a number of what we are to give… and we’re going to do it!” How cool is that?
It only reaffirms to me that God speaks… and He wants to build His church! I can’t wait to see what God does this Sunday. But even more, I can’t wait to see God's faithfulness unfold in your life, our church, and our city!
Our destinies are tied together…
The best is yet to come.
Chad & Julia
